Antimony Tart: Congestion and catarrh of respiratory tract with scanty expectoration though coarse rattling with wet sounding cough.

Arsenic Album: Destructive inflammation. Cough dry especially at night better by sitting up. Asthmatic breathing after midnight. Fears to lie down for fear of suffocation. Discharges are thin, acrid and scanty.

Bryonia: It is a very persistent remedy, all complaints develop slowly, and have an insidious onset. expectoration rusty, blood streaked. Cough-dry, hard, very painful, at night. stitching pain in chest < deep breathing and coughing. Right sided.

Drosera: Cough begins as soon as head touches the pillow at night. Prolonged periodical fits of choking cough, compels him to hold sides of chest.

Hepar Sulph: Takes cold from slightest exposure to fresh air. Recurrent bronchitis from every cold. 

Ipecac: Rattling cough. Most of its acute complaints commence with nausea. Nausea is not relieved by vomiting. Cough with rattling of mucus in bronchi when inspiring. Threatened suffocation from mucus. Chest seems full of phlegm, but does not yield to coughing.

Natrum Sulph: Dry cough < morning after rising < night, on lying down > sitting up and holding chest with both hands [Bry]. Cough thick, ropy, greenish expectoration, chest feels all gone.

Rumex: Dry, teasing cough, preventing sleep. Touching the throat pit brings on the cough < least cold air. 

Spongia: Cough-dry, barking, croupy. Cough, hollow, barking, crowing, sawing or tight, ringing, whistling, wheezing. Coughs like a saw driven through a pine board. Everything is perfectly dry, no mucous rales.

Stannum met: Weakness, exhaustion with respiratory disorders, especially felt in the chest, worse slight exertion. Can hardly talk from weakness of chest. Much mucus, difficult to detach. Cough deep, hollow, strangling, in paroxysms of three, dry in bed. Must hold chest when coughing. Dry cough at night, with sweet or salty expectoration in the daytime. Cough < using voice, lying on right side. Expectoration - Profuse, putrid, like white of an egg, SWEETISH, salty, sour, putrid, yellowish green, offensive.
